Dr. Talavane Krishna, the Founder & Chairman of IVAC was born near Sringeri in the state of Karnataka, the oldest centre of Vedic learning (Rig Veda) established by Shankaracharya twelve centuries ago.He did his medical degree from Mysore University in 1972 and his post graduate training in the UK and Canada as a Pediatric Anesthesiologist and practiced in the USA for over two and a half decades.
He founded the Indus Valley Ayurvedic Centre over 15 years ago with a vision to bring Ayurveda/Yoga to the forefront of the modern medicine. He along with other experts, pioneered a Therapist’s training program and developed new design concepts for Ayurveda Centres. The Centre quickly gained international repute for its quality of treatments.
A visionary of integrative healthcare, Dr. Krishna has been a regular speaker in various national and international seminars and conferences. He was a speaker in the first World Medical Tourism Congress in San Francisco. He received WASME (World Association for Small and Medium Enterprises) award in the year 2001 at Antalya, Turkey.
At the Centre in Mysore Dr. krishna eaches on various subjects related to Health and Wellness.
