Trivandrum (25-06-2018): A great news for football fans of Kerala. Aries Plex, one of the leading cinemas in the capital, will telecast major matches of 21st edition of the FIFA World Cup in Dolby Atmos, 4K sound and visual quality.
It is for the first time in the history of Kerala that a cinema theatre, equipped with international infrastructure and facilities is screening live football matches.
“This is our gift to all the Keralites who love football. International football matches, if shown in 4K quality, will make the experience next to watching it inside the stadium,” said Sohan Roy, Founder-director of Project Indywood.
“There aren’t many facilities available in Kerala for such screenings and hence we decided to telecast live matches of the 2018 FIFA World Cup at Aries Plex in Dolby Atmos 4K sound and visual quality,” added Sohan Roy who is also the chairman and CEO of Aries Group, headquartered in UAE.
Sohan Roy stated that theatres should find new ways to generate income.
“Telecasting live sports matches can help the entertainment industry. Through GST, such telecasts will provide revenue to the state as well,” added the business magnet.
Around 30 important World Cup matches will be telecast live at Aries Plex. Tickets are available at both the counter and on BookMyShow.com.
